----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: barnwalp Message 6 in Discussion 1. Shouldn't I be able to access the table without the prefix when I'm logging to SQL Server using "abc", I checked the object permissions for this user and all the permissions are set for this user. Nope, though you are logged in as "abc", if you don't specify owner "default owner is DBO". 2. Now my question is how do I query the tables without the prefix ? there is no table in the sql database without owner, check the owner, if you don't specify any owner use "DBO" as owner, it should work for you. SUGGESTION as a practice always use OWNER name for DB objects.
