Within the user control you can create a public property with a return type of 
ImageButton. Then from the page you can manipulate the user control using this 
property. You will have an instance of the user control available within the 
page. Or else you can use Page.FindControl method to get access to the user 
control at runtime.    Hope this serves your purpose.   Regards, Nilesh
