Hi Sreenath.   No.  Cookies are not a good solution.  Basically the browser is 
programmed to send the cookie to the domain name (or IP address as the case 
maybe), from whence it originated.  So, opening a new window will not stop the 
browser from sending the cookie to the server, since the new window document 
too will be sent back to the same domain.     JavaScript can only block opening 
of a new window as explained earlier.  But that'a about the max you can stretch 
it.     Now, please note these points are based on my personal understanding of 
how the browser behaves.  However, if there are other members of this community 
who would like to share their understanding and enlighten me also, I would be 
most obliged.   I have only tried to show you how I have protected one of my 
client's highly secure corporate website.   All the best anyways.   MANOJ KUMAR
