I've writen an answer but it seems to be in another thread or lost. 
What I've said was that I tried and got (from mu comment on the blog ):

So now my purpose is to be able to cross compile but now without Angstrom 
(using Debian currently).
I've seen in a comment that someone successfully compiled with Linaro 
Toolchain instead. 
Please advise.
