When I plug in my USB devices (a Dell keyboard + USB mouse), only the keyboard is seen? root@beaglebone:~# lsusb Bus 001 Device 002: ID 04b4:6560 Cypress Semiconductor Corp. Model L100 Keyboard If I plug in just the mouse with no hub, I get this: root@beaglebone:~# lsusb Bus 001 Device 004: ID 046d:c03d Logitech, Inc. M-BT96a Pilot Optical Mouse Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub I tried another (unpowered) hub where nothing but the hub is seen: [ 1058.647749] usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -110 Bus 001 Device 000: ID 05e3:0606 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB 2.0 Hub / D-Link DUB-H4 USB 2.0 Hub Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Both of these hubs (and devices) work on my other platforms.
