Robert: When I plug in an HDMI monitor into my BBB, a black background appears with the beagleboard.org logo on the bottom right, but it never get further. I take the same SD card and plug it into a BBW with an LCD attached, and a desktop appears and everything works as I expect. Below is the tail of dmesg and cat $SLOTS
How do I get the desktop to appear on the HDMI monitor? --Mark [ 25.101322] bone-capemgr bone_capemgr.9: slot #7: 'Override Board Name,00A0,O verride Manuf,bspm_P9_42_27' [ 25.101429] bone-capemgr bone_capemgr.9: slot #7: Requesting part number/vers ion based 'bspm_P9_42_27-00A0.dtbo [ 25.101447] bone-capemgr bone_capemgr.9: slot #7: Requesting firmware 'bspm_P 9_42_27-00A0.dtbo' for board-name 'Override Board Name', version '00A0' [ 25.105623] bone-capemgr bone_capemgr.9: slot #7: dtbo 'bspm_P9_42_27-00A0.dt bo' loaded; converting to live tree [ 25.106516] bone-capemgr bone_capemgr.9: slot #7: #2 overlays [ 25.117970] bone-capemgr bone_capemgr.9: slot #7: Applied #2 overlays.
