  When I plug in an HDMI monitor into my BBB, a black background appears 
with the beagleboard.org logo on the bottom right, but it never get 
further.  I take the same SD card and plug it into a BBW with an LCD 
attached, and a desktop appears and everything works as I expect. Below is

How do I get the desktop to appear on the HDMI monitor?
