There's nothing to re-flash, the am335x bootrom on the a6a supports mmc raw mode.. It was first introduced in the dm81x/omap4x era, and we just started using it on am335x late last year by default. (the am335x family comes from the dm81x/omap4x line).. Try another microSD card or a different usb-microSD-reader...
