I'm starting on a personal project, and I realized that this part
<https://www.adafruit.com/products/2719> would be very useful for it.
However, the tutorials I've been able to find on Adafruit seem to assume
that the user is working from an Arduino board. I've been told that this
part should be compatible with the Beaglebone Black, but I'm not quite sure
how to get it to work. I have a few questions:

1. Is there anything I need to install beside the Adafruit_SSD1305 and
Adafruit_GFX libraries?
2. How can I ensure the Adafruit software is mapped to the correct GPIO
ports?
3. Are there any general help resources people can point me to for this
situation?
4. Is there a part that would be better suited for the Beaglebone Black?

I appreciate whatever help you can offer!
