I'm starting on a personal project, and I realized that [url=https://www.adafruit.com/products/2719]this part[/url] would be very useful for it. However, I'm working from a Beaglebone Black rather than an Arduino board, and the tutorials I've been able to find on Adafruit seem to assume that the user is working from an Arduino board. I have a few questions:
1. Is there anything I need to install beside the Adafruit_SSD1305 and Adafruit_GFX libraries? 2. How can I ensure the Adafruit software is mapped to the correct GPIO ports? 3. Are there any general help resources people can point me to for this situation? 4. Any recommendations for parts that might be better for this purpose?
