Hi,

We will need to test out "USB3.0 functionality" when our custom board with
the TI AM57xx (specifically, the am5718) arrives.

I recall from a discussion at the ELC that the current TI SDK release (and
possibly the BeagleBoard-X15 image) doesn't currently support USB3.0 in
that the U-Boot version associated with these images doesn't yet support
USB3.0.

Furthermore, I understand that the forthcoming versions of the
BeagleBoard-X15 image and TI-SDK versions for the 57xx will contain the new
U-boot which will (or already does?) support USB 3.0. Please correct,
clarify...

Assuming the above statements are mostly correct, what's available in the
meantime to test out USB3.0 (that the A-15 can access it)?

Is there a new U-boot out there which we can combine with the 4.4 kernel or
are there U-boot patches which we can apply to permit the A15 to mount USB
3.0 drives?

Thanks!!!
