Hi, We will need to test out "USB3.0 functionality" when our custom board with the TI AM57xx (specifically, the am5718) arrives.
I recall from a discussion at the ELC that the current TI SDK release (and possibly the BeagleBoard-X15 image) doesn't currently support USB3.0 in that the U-Boot version associated with these images doesn't yet support USB3.0. Furthermore, I understand that the forthcoming versions of the BeagleBoard-X15 image and TI-SDK versions for the 57xx will contain the new U-boot which will (or already does?) support USB 3.0. Please correct, clarify... Assuming the above statements are mostly correct, what's available in the meantime to test out USB3.0 (that the A-15 can access it)? Is there a new U-boot out there which we can combine with the 4.4 kernel or are there U-boot patches which we can apply to permit the A15 to mount USB 3.0 drives?
