I'm looking at using a BBB in an embedded system. I have a 555 that I'm
using as a watchdog which the BBB would reset every so many seconds. If a
minute goes by and the 555 hasn't received a reset from the BBB then it
would time out and send a signal (either high or low) to the BBB forcing it
to reboot itself. Is there a pin on the GPIOs that will allow me to reboot
the BBB? I noticed there is a sys_reset pin on the BBB. Would driving this
pin low force a reboot? I've searched on Google for answers to this
question but I'll be darned if I can find anything other than "push the
power button".
