Hello Once More, Seth here. I have been dabbling in the GPS field and I keep getting sidetracked. Now...please read this idea.
- */var/lib/cloud9/examples/Grove_BBG/Software/Python* is a set of files that leads to directories/files/etc... - One of these files, out of the many I have come across, are listed as *Grove_GPS.py*. There are some nice examples of software I can use, esp. this .py file calle Grove_GPS.py. I would like to use this file with the Grove GPS module that attaches to the BBGW via the Grove Connectors (UART). Even though I have tried to run this specific .py file, Grove_GPS.py, I have come up empty. Does this software with the specific Grove GPS module run straight out of the "get-go?" I am asking because I am not sure quite how to handle myself around GPS just yet. I am still just learning. If you or someone you know, a friend or close relative, know how to produce Coordinates on this hardware, get with this little brother from Louisiana. I have been trying to run this software. I read over the software and I have come to the conclusion that the software is not valid. I get no *print* functions on my BASH when I run the .py file. This has drawn my conclusion on this issue. Seth P.S. Please refer to the above file source on our boards: Linux beaglebone 4.9.35-ti-r44. This is my distro from our org. BBB! Oh and in this case, BBGW! -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
