I'm surprised you haven't contacted me since I have both PocketScroller 
(P10/5 controller for PocketBeagle) and F8-PB (ws28xx string controller for 
PocketBeagle), both based on Falcon/FPP.    I have USB wifi working for 
both of them.   I have the KiCad projects I'd be happy to share if you are 
interested. 

The big question is how are you powering the PB?   The diagrams you see on 
the wiki and such only work if you power the PocketBeagle via the micro-usb 
port.  If you are planning on powering the PB via P1/1, then you need to 
route power separately and handle the switching and such.
