Okay, if the above 4 step procedure doesn't work, sadly that leaves a couple options. You actually didn't follow that procedure The image is corrupt. So try it again after reflashing the microSD. If it still doesn't work, grab a serial cable: https://elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBone_Black_Serial and get me the serial boot log for debugging..
