Ok, finally solved. How to keep yourself busy ;-). Installing through dkpg didn't work but the --ignore-depends gave me the hunch to look for something similar for the authentication key, and there is: https://askubuntu.com/questions/732985/force-update-from-unsigned-repository adding trusted=yes did the trick and I could install using the normal procedure described on the libpruio pages.
