That said, it sounds like you're using beancount in a somewhat unique workflow if you're entering transactions regularly through fava's webapp. Most of us are using beancount -- or one of its plaintext accounting cousins -- because we largely add & edit transactions using a normal text editor and not an app. Instead of entering transactions via the fava webapp, have you tried just using notepad or emacs or vim or whatever your favorite editor is? Then you'll be able to enter all the transactions you want, as fast as you want.
