Aha. For whatever it's worth, that is what the sort fields are usually for—most 
people want to sort artists by their surname (and display them in the opposite 
order).

Maybe a good solution for your case would be to use `modify` to remove the sort 
field altogether? Then your player will probably just sort by the ordinary 
`artist` field.
