Dennis -- Sorry, I put the wrong module in my post (I
had just written a script using Net::FTP, hence the
mix up)! Although Net::FTP is a great one, I was
thinking of Net::Telnet, which you can use to easily
telnet into your server, even if it requires SSH
(although I've only *read* about the SSH
functionality).
The crontab is relatively easy to setup and understand
once you get your script written and its permissions
set to execute. Let me know when you get your script
hammered out and we'll get your crontab setup to run
every night at midnight.
