What does an automation engineer do, and what industry are you in or want to be in? Are you programming embedded devices or microcontrollers? In the video game business or financial services? Are you doing industrial process monitoring, educational software, mobile phone applications, CAD/ CAM, or engineering documentation library interfaces?
