5.6.1 is the current 'stable' release - you can download it from http://www.cpan.org/src/index.html read down to Mail Files - grab it as http://www.cpan.org/src/stable.tar.gz and build the release... If you do not have a compiler - there are a variety of work arounds where you play with the binary only releases - cf http://www.cpan.org/ports/index.html ciao drieux --- NOTE: I DO NOT ADVOCATE BINARY ONLY RELEASES - I merely acknowledge that in 'unNatural' - tantamount to 'evil' cases users are working on systems without compilers as their 'working environment' - rather than leaving those 'mutant' types of 'production server' boxes chained up in the dark closet where they will not be able to scare people.... WARNING: Computers without Compilers have been known to attack people after failing a Sanity Check or saving throw against magic. Do not leave such computers out where they can gain access to children or shrubbery.... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
