I'm trying to install perl 5 (ActiveState) on a NT sp6a machine with IIS4. After responding all questions of the installer, the script aborts in the beginning of the installation procedure. It is reported that an error occurred and no other information. I tried to stop all running services before the installing procedure, but it was without effect. any hints?
