It was although different , but part of the only 1 problem I was facing (might be many have faced that & could suggest me a soln that bypasses both the problems ). If a mail comes to me whose contents I could hardly understand even 5% I wouldn't respond , but if I know about 33% I 'll respond for those 1/3 & try to give idea about the remaining as it happens here in case of txt to html quesn . I responded like that just because he irritated by asking same question 3 times that was an oversmartness (he was asking same question 3 times in one mail , I have asked at least 3 different questions) . The way you answered is very much logical & it's just a matter of perception , you may be right here . But to be honest I have always received most responses this way rather then 1 question at a time ( which many a times go unaswered -spcly as less people know about WMI etc) . > Besides, why would you HAVE to write 9 mails is something too complex > for me to understand. I can understand the complexity :)) . sometimes things gets exaggerated by chance or by mistake not intentionally . > > > > > 1) > > > > Can somebody give some pointers where to look for or any > > > > particularly good one ( free ofcourse) automated ftp tool which > > > > can be used for transfering a txt/doc file from my win XP system > > > > to a unix server ?. > > > > > > And your Perl question is ? Although I haven't asked for that exclusively , but that was quite understood , people HAVE answered that only (Net::FTP) & no existing tool - you see. > > > > 2) > > Also if somebody what I can do to make a page html instead of > > txt or doc > > - keeping up the format ( need not be exact format but > > it should not > > just be a messed up one). when i rename from .doc to > > .html or use copy > > command ( i.e. on windows machine) the format > > goes off completely - & > > what left is contiguous words that's all > > ?. > > And your Perl question is ?
