Thanks for replyng for my bitwise query.
The reason why i need it is, coz I have to design an application which has to parse a file which stores data
in hex.
By this I meant it is a text file but the contents are to be interpreted as hex numbers
Then I have to display the contents in a simple User interface. And also provide ways to change the file contents. So I thought I could use Perl and a Tool like Tk for the interface. Any suggestions?
