My ethics prevent me from helping you.  As much as I dislike any given law in
my own jurisdiction, I don't simply ignore it.  It would unethical to help you
do the same.

What you need to do is feel the pain of the problem, so that you'll get up in
arms about it eventually, and use means to get it changed.  Working around the
issue would be like constantly taking pain killers after you break your arm,
but doing nothing about setting the actual bone.  (Sorry for the overloaded
"arm" there!)
