In my opinion that is a curious and divisive post Jack. Are you suggesting that, despite bottom-posting being a de-facto standard on this list, and despite a majority of subscribers expecting it and preferring it, we should all instead top-post because there must be someone out there that likes it better that way? I'm sure Jenda has every sympathy with each individual's circumstances, but a post can only be in one style and surely that style should be what the majority favour? Perhaps I could take issue with Jenda writing 'care about' rather than 'provide for', but on the whole I agree with him while also sympathising with Octavian's point of view.
