That is facile Shawn. No poll has ever been taken on the the rules of this list. It is a democracy, and if you object to the way it is run then it is up to you to say so, and let your proposed changes be considered by everybody here. At the moment, we at least - Use the English language - Talk only about Perl, and refer people on to specialist groups - Use the bottom-post or interleaved-post style - Recommend and use the coding style that is documented in perlstyle There are of course many more core values like those, as well as traditions and unspoken rules that apply to any community. I would very much like to see standards for this list documented and published, as discussions like this happen far too regularly. In the mean time I think it fair to correct on another, and for each of us to expect to be corrected ourselves.
