Hello Friends I need some very elementary help on two things: Ben on Ubuntu 5.10 and MSW-XP.
1. Jamil Ahmed provided tweaked versions of Ben that are to be kept in '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/symbols' and '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/symbols/pc' directory. They are working well on FC3 and SuSE 9.2 systems. But, that is not working in Ubuntu 5.10. Even the 'setxkbmap' binary is not giving error message 'cannot load keyboard configuration' when given directly the address of the 'ben' files, though that is working the usual way in FC3 or SuSE 9.2. How to make these tweaked 'ben' files work in Ubuntu 5.10? 2. How to work with OOO 2 and 'ben' in MSW-XP? Where from to get the 'probhat' layout and driver and configuration files for MSW-XP? And can someone provide a step by step guide for how to make it work in MSW-XP? Is there any how-to?
