Eek......burrners......this brings back a nightmare. I had taken Bacchus and
Ari for their Temperament Test. It was help on a sheep farm....the people
had cleared a big field for the test. Ken was unexpectedly called into work
which worried me a bit-he was gonna be the "dog holder" while the other one
was testing.. Then the "beautiful" September day....turned into one of those
freak Ohio 90 degree days, so I knew there'd be no leaving one in the SUV.
But I figured I could ask for some help with that.

THEN....as I directed them to the one square foot of shade
available.....Bacchus sat squarely on the big pile of cleared BURR bushes.
There were hundreds of burrs in his tail and britches. And he absolutely
hates the things [does any dog like them? LOL].

So picture me [I'm not great in the heat either] trying to remain calm while
seperating and removing each burr. Poor baby....I hadn't even brought a
comb. "Stand.....easy...good baby" repeated a hundred times, while Ari
strained at the end of her leash wanting to go investigate everything else.

FINALLY got them all out....all I can say is I'm glad I wasn't the one being
tested for MY temperament that day. The happy [?] ending is they both passed
their TT.

HATE BURRS!!!!!
