What a great thread! It's prompted me to make my first post after reading the list for four months.
I am the proud new mom of a 14 week old bouncing baby Berner! We met him when he was 5 weeks old and brought him home 3 weeks later. We spent those 3 weeks working on names. He is from a "g" litter and he is full of spark and attitude.... Since we race cars and are big Formula One fans, we pretty quickly came up with Gweebarra's Grand Prix for his 'real' name. The call name took a little longer... We finally came up with Enzo (for Enzo Ferrari) - full of style and attitude and ties back to his registered name. He's already living up to the full of speed and energy part! - he keeps both of us very busy :-) New train of thought... I'd like to thank everyone who participates in this list for making it what it is. I have learned so much about this breed and some of the wonderful people who are owned by these dogs. Some of the stories touch my heart deeply and the anecdotes keep me smiling. This is a neat community of very diverse people with a wonderful common tie. Thanks!
