I am very sad to read all the propaganda on these prong collars and
especially when used on Berners, they are such sensitive dogs.
I wonder what is going on and feel we need a peace revolution for all our
dogs on planet earth.

If we discuss how to breed in the best ways, how to give medication and take
part in the best researches against all illnesses which is infecting Berners
why with open mind doing something that works in the quite opposite
direction?

I hope all search on the Internet to find also all the positive manners to
handle dogs without hard methods.
Try a prong collars on your own neck and feel what it feels like when
someone also having a leash in one end and you are there in the prong
collars.

24 years ago when I had my first Berner Chaplin I was teached about the
breed and the importance of being as soft as possible to this sensitive
breed. Since than I over and over again have been aware of Berners need of
the most loving, soft and gentle hands and hearts around.

I can only cry as much as we sometimes cry when the knowledge of Berners
death from histiocytosis, cancer or other very difficult illnesses are sent
to us through the list.

Always try the soft and gentle methods at first. For all Berners and
bernerowner I know personal these soft methods works so well. From the list
I have learned Berners all over the world are very much like each other when
it comes to temperament and personality.
Bernerhugs to all Berners works better than prong collars,
