Vicky,

Your not doing anything wrong just not proper sequence
<G> online you can view the Cardiac, Eyes, Hip &
Elbow for that is all reported. You have to ask a
site operator for a 'dog' report in writing (can be
via email I assume as well besides snail) generally
you pay $10 for this report -- you have to have the
dogs official AKC name not their call name -- if it is
in BGF and owners/breeders have been reporting various
health data then that will show up in this report it
will also include death and possible cause of death if
it has been reported. None of this data will be
released UNLESS the owner or breeder has signed
release waiver if I remember correctly -- maybe a
current BGF Trustee can answer that question for you
it's been a few years since I was on their board. I
was told by Margrit Kitchin you could do a 'future
puppy' report for $5 giving sire/dam of prospective
litter again this was a few years back (2001) so the
cost may of gone up. Site operators are listed on the
BernerGarde webpage www.bernergarde.org
