I vaguely remember someone with a similar incident a little while back - it's something to do with the routing of the BES. I'm sure someone will chime in on this and give you the solution - but I want to say it's a limitation to the DNS lookup from the BES to internal sites? Hope this maybe tips someone in the right direction.
