BESadmin is setup in the administrator group on the local machine. I also have the BESadmin in a exchange view only administrator group in AD.
I have noticed that the affected handsets all are on a specific mail server that holds all our corporate users. Does it have the necessary Exchange rights... Based on my archiving experience this type of issue can occur when the rights in Exchange are modified. Look for errors in the BES log when trying to poll for new messages. The BES server is working which is why the users can send things to it but it is likely that the BES can not read the Exchange accounts... So it is probably not a SendAs issue but an admin right to read the messages... Rick Keefer Total Computer Solutions, Inc. Anthony, This sounds like SendAs permission for besadmin account is not set for those users! This happens for 2 reasons: 1. User is a member of AD protected group(s) - Doman Admins, Print Admins, Print Operators, etc. 2. Inheritance of permissions is blocked on the store level or higher. Check out RIM site - there are many KB?s on the issue. I am having a couple of issues that are perplexing me, I have multiple blackberries (BES 4.1.6/exchange 03) that can send email but not receive. I tried deleting and resending the service books with no go. Wiped and activated one would not download email but could send. I have 10 users all on Exchange 07 servers and berries are running fine. If I would have this on Domino I would check if the server mailfile is fine and new mail go into the inbox.. but I guess Exchange is a bit different...
