This is the route I'd prefer to go for sure.  Will speak to them about just 
disabling BBM.

BBM can be audited, but it’s very messy and nothing like logging
PIN or SMS messages.
If auditing is enabled, the user’s device will email a copy of
the conversation to an audit email address that you specify.
A copy of the outgoing message will also be seen by the user in
their Sent mail folder.
 
I would advise your execs to reconsider, as this has the potential
to be an administrative headache for you.
If they’re that concerned about the content of BBM, then a
better choice may be to simply block its use entirely.

The execs just advised that I enable BBM
logging... Does BES support this out of the box?  If not, are there any
3rd party apps that people can recommend to do this?  BES 4.1.6 btw
