Are you sure you added the second BES 5 server as an HA standby server during the installation? Your setup sounds like you may have just added it as a second BES server in the same domain.

Both are pointing to a remote SQL server database. I specified the BES server config one as primary and the other as secondary. However, when I stopped all the BES services on the primary the secondary did not automatically kick in.
