I always wipe the old BB as soon as the new BB is activated.

Has anyone had trouble with the Switch Device Wizard taking information from
your own email? I have had that happen so I just use the Backup then Restore
which copies the older emails to the new BB. Otherwise only new emails come to
the new BB.

I like the Switch Device Wizard because it will copy third party apps also, but
having my stuff show up on another users BB is a problem.

Ideas?

Personally I like to wipe the old device ASAP. It reduces the chances
that if the device is lost or stolen when in storage that any
sensitive data will be stolen as well.

I don't want to be the person to have to tell my boss that i never
wiped the CFO's old device before it went MIA.
