On pre-5.0, I think if you configure IT policy to enforce external file system
encryption, when you wipe the device the memory card will become unreadable
because the encryption key is lost. Testing would be needed to confirm.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Wipe Question

So I was able to send my first wipe command out today. Never really tested
this in the past, having a little fun I sent a PIN Message saying "This Phone
will Self-Destruct in 10 seconds.", off-topic but hey...it's Friday.

Anyways, now I get to fill out an internal security form and noticed that we
don't have one created for BlackBerrys. So this brings up a couple questions
that I am hoping for some information on....

1. Does the wipe reach out to the SD card (to delete photos etc.)?

2. Do you all have any specific information that you think should be in
a customized form? Other than the obvious Who | What | When | Where stuff.

Thanks in advance, have a great weekend.
