It's a crowd-sourced navigation/traffic information program, and it seems to work well (as long as there are decent maps for your area, which may not be true in rural areas). I'd been testing a Samsung Captivate Droid and the A&T Navigation with driving directions is great and free. I called their support and they don't recommend anything but their utility to build applications MDS Studio. I've searched though Google and haven't been able to find a backend application - everything I find is for the BB device, not the server. Regards, Mike
