Mapquest has an app. The iphone version of it has audible directions, but the
Blackberry version doesn’t. At least not on the 9700.

Is Google Navigation different than Google Maps? That works on all devices,
but I'm looking for a free voice activated NAV for the BB.

As far as I can tell, Google navigation and Sprint navigation are included in
the Everything account. On the other hand, Google navigation is disabled on
Verizon devices, and Verizon navigation is $10/month.

The AT&T Navigation is only free for the first 30 days – it’s 9.99/month after
that per device.

Along those same lines, does anyone have a recommendation to a free BB device
app that will give GPS navigation with voice directions. I’d been testing a
Samsung Captivate Droid and the A&T Navigation with driving directions is great
and free.

Has anyone been able to find and implement any 3rd party app to take advantage
of the GPS tracking option built in to BES 5.0.1? I called their support and
they don’t recommend anything but their utility to build applications MDS
Studio.

I’ve searched though Google and haven’t been able to find a backend application
– everything I find is for the BB device, not the server.

Regards,

Mike
