Mapquest has an app. The iphone version of it has audible directions, but the Blackberry version doesn’t. At least not on the 9700.

That works on all devices, but I'm looking for a free voice activated NAV for the BB. On the other hand, Google navigation is disabled on Verizon devices, and Verizon navigation is $10/month. -- Art Alexion Systems Engineer Infrastructure Engineering Group (IEG) Resources for Human Development ----- Reply message ----- From: "Taggart, Mike" <[email protected]> Date: Wed, Aug 18, 2010 3:16 pm Subject: [Bes-admins] GPS tracking 3rd party app To: "A list for BES Admin's to discuss issues, etc." <[email protected]> The AT&T Navigation is only free for the first 30 days – it’s 9.99/month after that per device. I’d been testing a Samsung Captivate Droid and the A&T Navigation with driving directions is great and free. I called their support and they don’t recommend anything but their utility to build applications MDS Studio. I’ve searched though Google and haven’t been able to find a backend application – everything I find is for the BB device, not the server.
