The rule used to be 100 meg for the base database and 1 meg per user. I
think it's changed a bit in 5, but not sure of the hard rule. We have
about 300 users, and the database is 500 meg. Even with 1100 users, your
SQL database likely will be one of the smaller ones your SQL team deals
with.

Guys, 

I need my Database team to create a MS Sql Server instance for my new
BES 5.0 servers and I need to know how much space each database instance
requires. Can you give me a rule of thumb to provide to them. This
server currently has about 1100 users on it and wont be growing much.
