I found out the services were actually restarted. You are correct. We
had the same thing happen a few weeks ago  on BES 5.0. About 20 users
got their passwords changed and had no idea what they were.

Do you know if there is any way to delete old rogue jobs like this that
are queued up.

After the updates were installed was the server rebooted? Its possible
that one of the services failed to start after a reboot and the team
restarted the service.
