I am sure they are useful in certain situations especially for testing OS specific features. I am just not sure its a good solution to replace thing for daily support. Too complicated.

He does not yet have a Blackberry. We are trying to determine if the Blackberry emulator would be sufficient for him vs. him having a real device. I prefer the real device route.
