Hi I am novice on Blackberry and need assistance to migrate users from v 4.1.7 to v5.0 in a Virtal environment.
Less than 100 users and want to migrate users with minimum fuss and if I can avoid it no activation. We have Exchange 2007 installed in V Ware. Essentially when I logon to current BES I can see that Exchange management shell is installed so do I need to install this onto the new BES Express too ? I have been reading forums and closest example that meets my environment and needs are posted here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/bes-admin-corner/218514-moving-bes-4-1-6-9-bes-5-0-1-different-server.html >From what I can understand need to install the new BES, using SRP & license from old server stopping services running on the old one 1st, then install the admin management , use Blackberry Transportto migrate users, then point to use current configuration database files and voila all done. Is this about right ? any assistance will be much appreciated.
