I think this is a seperate issue - Our VZW rep just told us most of the HR & Virginia area are completely without service (voice/data). There is also an article in DailyPress about it. Verizon is having issues with their BlackBerry service since last Thursday. Seems that service is switching to 1X on a regular basis, BBM, data, and email service is inconsistently working.
