I changed mine int he registry on my server and bounced the server. Seems to
be working fine.
We had 2 BES servers--one was a new 5.x build one had been upgraded from 4.x to
5.x a year or so ago. the new 5.x build did not need updating while the older
BES server did...

Once the SRP address is updated is a restart of any service needed? Am
i correct to assume that the Blackberry router service would need a
restart, then watch the router log to confirm that there are no issues
with connecting to the new SRP DNS name?

I updated mine from srp.us.blackberry.net to us.srp.blackberry.com with
no issue about two weeks ago. I went under the assumption that it would
be better to switch now instead of waiting until they changed and then
end up trying to chase down the issue.

I asked support and the said change it even though they weren't sure it
would stop working onm 6/25 when the make the change on their network to
retire old srp addresses.
