Fixed by restarting the mail store service and waiting 20 minutes. Potential problem avoided.

Make sure that it is indeed the primary SMTP address (BES will only work with the primary SMTP address, not secondary ones). Is there a limitation on email addresses imposed by BES 5.0.3? We have a user with the address, firstname.last-n...@company.org<mailto:firstname.last-n...@company.org> Yes, that is a hyphenated last name. BES can't find the account whether searching Display name (full or just first), nor email address. Coming up fine in Exchange 2007. Does BES choke on addresses like this? If so, and I create an exchange smtp alias to overcome the limitation, will it work if it is not the primary smtp?
