If you ask AT&T , and have a corporate account which I’m assuming with 75 people you. AT&T will come do a site survey, and if they deem you do not have “ample” service coverage and speed they will put in their own local micro cellular repeaters in office. Now with that being said you will have to provide the infrastructure – 50um single mode fiber lines for connectivity – but they will support and provide the celluar radio equipment to blast out the 3g signal.
If someone says they can’t or won’t do that – get a new rep because that is totally within your contractual agreement to ask for a site / speed survey. Else try this: it is what the cell phone companies use – but won’t tell you they use them ☺ http://www.wilsonelectronics.com/ProductListing.aspx?Category=11 Todd From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2011 9:57 AM To: A list for BES Admin's to discuss issues, etc.; A list for BES Admin's to discuss issues, etc. Subject: [Bes-admins] Slightly OT - Need to improve signal strength for office Hi, We have an office of about 75 people, mostly on T-Mobile and AT&T with a combination of BlackBerry’s and iPhones. We have almost no reception at the office. We need a robust solution that will increase the strength of the signal for the entire office (about 16k square feet). Currently we have 2 of the AT&T 3G microcells and they are essentially worthless. Does anyone have any recommendations? Price doesn’t really matter—CEO has deemed this top priority and seems willing to pay for the right solution. ________________________________ This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain information that is confidential, privileged, proprietary and protected from disclosure by applicable law.
