Hello All,
The document draft-ietf-bess-evpn-pref-df-10 defines the “Don’t Preempt (DP)”
capability.
It states in section 3 -
“The DP capability is supported by DF
Algs Highest-Preference or Lowest-Preference, and MAY be used
with the default DF Alg or HRW [RFC8584]. The procedures of
the "Don't Preempt" capability for the default DF Alg or HRW
are out of the scope of this document.”
Is there any other document which describes the procedures of the use of the DP
with the other algorithms?
If not, will this be addressed by the working group or is it not recommended to
use the DP capability with the other algorithms?
