Yahoo
data (only source of data available in Best Charts) has been very unreliable
this year. Recently, it has gotten better, but major problems still appear
frequently.
This
is usually seen as missing days in the data. The missing days are generally
within the last week.
It
pays to click the 123 button, especially if you are considering making a trade,
and take a quick look at the underlying data to see if any obvious problems are
evident.
Since
this is a Yahoo data problem, it is NOT limited to Best Charts. All charting
programs that use Yahoo data would have the same issues.

It seems that a good portion of my readings on this site refer to the reliability of Yahoo's data. All I have been doing is punching in a symbol and calling up the charts. Is that a foolish approach or is the reliability you guys are referring belong to those situations where you go in and mess with the data?
