Dear Rik,

Thank you for your reply. I thought it could be that Best-chart has lost the connection with
Yahoo because of incorrect URLs. I find now that the problem is with Yahoo. None of the charts on Yahoo shows the current NSE positons. They are still displaying th charts of
20-6-2005. So,  have to wait for things to get right at Yahoo. There could not be a worst time
than this for a problem of this kind to take place.. There are lot of action at the Bombay
Stock Exchanges. The Sensitive Index has crossed 7000 yesterday and reached 7150 today after the settlement of the issues relating to the ownership of the Comanies in Reliance group between the two brothers Anil and Mukesh, after their father's demise.

Thank you for the information regarding the URLs for the microchart, that there is nothing to
entered in the Part 2 box.

Regarding the list, there was no need for these changes. We'd like to know what advantage is
there, by this change, other than to make it user-unfriendly. The motivation should be to
simplify things, and not introduce complications which make no sense.

You did have a role to play in the positive changes visible at Yahoo. You did forward our complaints and it is possible that as those being communications from the forum coordinator
of a user software like Best-chart, they could not ignore it. Our complaints written to them directly were most probably getting deleted without any reading;  as for months, there haven't been any change in spite of writing to them about the immense problems the changes were causing to users, several times to the users of Best-chart. There would not any acknowledgement for the reciept of our mails either.

Thanking you once again !

I assure you, any change at Yahoo is not the result of any influence by me.

The micro chart url does not use a part 2.

If you think there is a problem with Best Charts displaying a micro chart, check Yahoo to see if the micro chart is available.

Example: enter this in your web browser:

http://ichart.yahoo.com/t?s=500171.BO

If the micro chart is not correct at Yahoo, it can not be correct in Best Charts.

It appears that NSE stock data is not available on Yahoo at this time.

Subject: RE: [BestCharts]unable to see current (15 mins delayed) intraday microcharts

Dear Rik,

It is nice to see that Yahoo has started responding positively and changing the number-codes on the intraday charts to name-codes. I whole-heartedly thank you for having used your influence on Yahoo as the Yahoo- Group moderator for Best-Charts forum.

There are problems of ther nature which are that of Best-Charts. I have entered the URLS prescribed on the site of Best-Charts for Indian users. The URL for intraday microcharts has nothing on Part 2. For Pat 1. it is: http://ichart.yahoo.com/t?s=

For all  charts ending in .NS, with nothing in Part 2. the micro-charts shown are those of yesterday: 20-06-2005   Only for a few ones having .BO appended, the current charts are displayed.

I tried entering ^NSEI  and  ^BSESN in the box for Part 2. It then displays nothing. All boxes
show: "Chart Not Available".

I would be thankful if anybody could guide me or enlilghten me,  how the current intraday-charts  could be made to display as before,  for all chart-names ending in .NS. too.
